Brotherly Love
So every once in a while Alex wants to sit on the potty. I am not encouraging it but when he throws a fit and tries to tear his clothes off I oblige.
Well Saturday night before putza (bath) Alex wanted to sit on the potty. Jack already unclothed asked Alex if he wanted him to read him a Diego book.... Alex said Yes.
Well I am sorry if some of you (the two people who read this blog) are offended or think I am wrong for taking these pictures/video..... how can I not. It was so darn cute to see Jack be such a big brother. Days and things like this make me so happy that they are so close in age and that they are both boys..... I just hope they are the best of friends all through life.

Jill's Big Day
My sister Jill was hired back in Oct 08 in Milwaukee for the position as a Probation and Parole Agent. She had to go through 9 weeks of training in Madison and this past Friday she had her "graduation" ceremony.
My Mom and I drove down to Madtown Thursday night and took her out to dinner. After dinner I joined Jill and her 30+ fellow agents for drinks. It was a crazy night and I do not have the photos to post from that evening. All pictures where taken from her camera.... I will get those photos and post them hopefully this week.
Here are a few photos from the big day!
Here is the Judge who swore them in.

Wanted
RECIPES.
I would LOVE . LOVE . LOVE to get some new recipes flowing at my house. Appetizers, desserts, main course, side dishes...... anything you would like to share. I feel I make the same thing every week and the kids are getting sick of them or I am just getting sick of being asked for jelly sandwiches for EVERY meal.
So I beg you all..... please email me (jenzima@aol.com) your recipes!!! Just put recipes in the subject line so I don't delete your email because I don't recognize it. :)

Playing at G&G H's
Steve stayed until Monday and the boys and I stayed for an extra two days. Yes, Steve took back the Wii and admitted that the first thing he did when he got home was hook it up and played GH while the bags sat on the kitchen floor. Then he went out to eat and drink with my vball team and got home around 11pm and proceeded to play GH for 15 mins and then went to bed. Too funny!!!
Here are some fun things we did at G&G H's house.
Jack reading Alex a Diego book
Gpa and his boys showing how much snow they have.

Surprise
So I had no clue what my parents were getting us for Xmas this year. I usually have an idea and so I thought we were getting a gift card to our favorite restaurant (Little Tokyo).
Well when my mom handed Steve our gift and he opened it I thought it was a joke. (Side Note: these gifts are for our birthdays and anniverary as well.)
Then she handed me our gift from Jill and when I opened it and it was the GHIII. Steve and I both had to hold our jaws closed.
Then she handed us two more gifts from Sue and this is what we opened.

We were so surprised. I was shocked that Jill and her kept this a secret for as long as they did. Steve was so happy because this was his very first video equipment ever (if you don't count used Atari). So we were able to control ourselves and not hook it up until the next morning (it was 10 at night remember). It was so cute watching my parents watch us open and then play the Wii. The kids love GH and love playing their guitar while one of us plays with them. Jack loves to shout at the end YOU ROCK!
Christmas at the Grandparents
This year we spent Christmas day at the Van Nuland's. I ended up taking pictures on Jen's camera (Steve's sister) and I haven't gotten them to post. Once I get them I will.
So after the boys opened their gifts from Santa they played for a while and then we were off to G& G V's house for lunch and more gifts. After opening gifts and running around for a bit we were off to Steve's Aunt and Uncle's house to visit with his dad's side of the family. After the visit we went home and the boys played with their new toys and off to bed they went.
Friday we played with the toys and had a pretty laid back day. That afternoon after the boys napped we went back to Kaukauna to celebrate Christmas with Steve's mom's side of the family with dinner and the boys running around. After that we drove to my parents house thinking the it would be a good idea since the weather was to be bad Saturday morning (freezing rain, snow, etc). So off we went to drive 2.5 hours to Neillsville. Well not the best idea considering it was so foggy and I could see about a mile ahead of me. Well we made it their at about 9pm and the boys were still awake so they ended up opening their gifts from G&G H.
