A Day With Friends

Sunday the boys had a pretty laid back morning.

Jack read the comics from the Sunday paper while watching TV.

Alex did some work on his laptop

Then later that morning their best buds Jayden and Noah came over for the day.

They hung out and played hard at the house, took naps and then Steve and I took them to the park.

Then after the park it was back to the house to ride their bikes.

The boys had a blast and cannot wait for the Smits Boys to come back again. Maybe next time it can be for a sleep over!!

Hanging out with G&G H - Sunday

Sunday the boys woke up and Gpa bought them a special breakfast.... chocolate long john donuts. Alex was in HEAVEN! Take a look for yourself.


Then the boys decided to have a bit of fun in the house since it was raining outside.

Then after the couch got boring they decided to climb all over Gpa. Those crazy boys!

We headed back to GB after lunch to go see Steve (who was on a Guys Camping trip). It was a great weekend and we can't wait to go back.... there is a lot of fishing, rock throwing, butternut picking and bike riding to do!!

Hanging out with G&G H - Saturday

Saturday the boys woke up and were all ready to go hard again.

First they played in the garage.



Then Gpa said it was time to go fishing. This was the boys first time fishing and they were excited to go. Back home they have this pond called Trout Pond and it is only for kids to fish at. There is Trout (duh), catfish and some other kind of fish that I can't remember.

So Gpa got his bait out (yes that is frozen corn)

Then after 10 seconds he wanted Jack to have a turn.

while Jack fished Alex decided to roll down the hill until the fish came..

and here is Jack's first fish! He was so proud and told Gpa that he loved fishing.

Then Alex wanted to get a fish too....

Here is Alex and his first fish. He wasn't too keen on the fish coming anywhere near him. It was so funny to watch him with it.

After fishing it was lunch time and then the beloved nap time (2+ hour nap... whoo hooo) then after nap it was more water balloons, riding the bikes and just hanging out with G&G H.

Of course Alex had to join in the fun too!! Silly Boys!
