Happy Birthday Little Man!!!

This post is a day late. :(

Happy Birthday Little Man!!!

I cannot believe you are two. I swear it was just yesterday that I was holding you for the first time. I remember every little detail of the day you were born. Now you are turning into a little dude. You love your brother more than anything. You want to do everything he does and you even torture him when given the chance. You two are going to be the best of friends. So Happy Birthday Alex..... I love you very much!

Monday we dug up some plants that we did not like from the previous owners and the boys where helping out in every way.

Here is Alex telling the birdie to shoo away.

Alex wanted birthday pie so he got his birthday pie.

Check out little man... all tuckered out from a long weekend of parties and playing hard.

Sunday

Sunday we had breakfast with G&G H and Johnathan. Then it was off to church and before we knew it everyone went home.

Here is Alex having breakfast with Gpa. Nothing like reading the comics in the morning.

Then we went to drop off some birthday cookies to Uncle Chad and his fellow Firefighters at Station 2. I don't think we could have planned this any better..... as soon as we got there and handed Chad the cookies the alarm went off indicating they had a call. Jack and Alex were excited to see all the Firefighters get in their gear and watch Uncle Chad climb into the drivers seat, turn the sirens on and drive the fire engine to the fire.

The ambulance was not called so paramedic Bob showed the boys the inside of the ambulance (which they have seen millions of times but it just never get old going to the station to see the "cool fire trucks and ambulance" as Jack told me), turned the lights on and was very sweet to the boys.
Then we went home had dinner and went for a bike ride. After the bike ride we decided to go to a park for a while. Here are the boys enjoying themselves.

Saturday

Saturday we had Alex's 2nd Birthday Party with our families. I wasn't sure how the day was going to be since it did rain a bit in the morning. Thank God it stopped and the kids where able to run around outside instead of inside my house! Here are a few pictures from the day.

Steve blowing up the bounce house that our friend Amy lent us. (Thanks a ton Amy.... all the kids loved it!)

Steve got his Father's Day/Birthday present early.

Poor Julia broke her leg a few days prior to the party.

I don't even want to know what they did or are going to do!
