Legal Age is What??

Please do not turn me in! :) So this is what happens after breakfast, lunch and dinner. We finish and Jack asks if he can get the vacuum. Then he comes out and Alex screams wanting it, so Jack will give it to him and proceeds to get the broom. Then the two of them clean the floor.... I am not kidding you. Then they get upset when there is nothing left to clean up. If only they would still want to do for the next 17 years!

Misc Things

Who says you have to sit on the zebra to enjoy it?!

Dancing Machines

So here are my crazy boys dancing away to Shake It (Alex's FAVORITE song) and Where it At.

I truly have no idea where they learned their moves from (must have seen Steve dancing in one of his drunken moments).

WARNING: Yes it does look like a tornado hit my kitchen/dining area. I was in the process of cleaning, so it only looks like this 90% of the time. :)

Enjoy, laugh and wipe the tears away from your eyes and watch them again!

Don't worry he didn't hurt himself!

Check out that arm action!

No whiplash... and check out those hips!

Don't even think about stealing my thunder!

Smits'

Sunday at the Smits' was fabulous even though it did sprinkle off and on, but we didn't leave the patio the whole time. The boys where in heaven playing with each other on the swing set, tackling each other and tormenting Casey (their dog). Poor Noah ended up going down for his nap right before we got there so he missed a bunch of the action. Thanks again Smits' for letting us hang out, eating your salsa and drinking your beer/wine. Vicki, sorry that you had to go home early..... darn headaches!

Jack and Jayden

Boys will be boys

Noah and me

Those two will be trouble in the next few decades.

Can't you see it.... middle of the night phone calls from the police station?

Yeah I am talking about you!

My sweet godson

Made you laugh!

Weekend

We will start with Thursday because well why not!

Thursday I picked the boys up from Amy's and took them to visit Uncle Chad at the Fire Station. Jack was is typical self asking Chad about all the trucks. This was Alex's first trip to the Fire Station, which I can not believe it took me this long to take him. Alex was a hoot and just stared at the trucks. Then of course the best of the best of the visit... Firefighter Pokey (I am pretty sure that is his nickname) bought Jack not one candy bar but TWO. That was the talk of the night! Uncle Chad Jack does have one request though.... please, please, please get me a new firefighter hat when they come in.
So onto the weekend. The boys wanted to be outside the entire time and when it did rain they were sad and as soon as Jack saw it stop or the sun peaking out it was outside time.

Friday we played A TON and got a bunch of yard work done. I even got a chance to wash the kitchen floor not once but twice!

Put the stepping stones in place (seriously, does anyone know how to get these pictures to rotate?)

Helping Dad get ready to mow the grass.

Feeling those Cubbies!

Alex wanting to mow too. About 10 minutes after this picture was taken Alex threw up on the kitchen floor (hence washing the floor twice).

So Alex was not feeling the greatest for some bizarre reason Friday evening. Threw up a few times but slept threw the night and was his old self Saturday morning.

Saturday we were outside a lot and even made it down to the Friedman's out for a drink and laughs.

Sunday we went to church and then we were off to the Smits' house once naps were completed for more drinks, laughs and stories. I will post pictures shortly.

This week will be crazy. Amy is going on vacation to London for 10 days (did I happen to tell you I am jealous!!!???) starting Tuesday. So G&G H are coming to town for the week to watch the boys while we work. Thanks Mom for taking your vacation so I wouldn't have to take mine (sounds a bit selfish huh?!). Don't worry though I am taking her to get a pedicure on Thursday so it all works out! :)

It's been awhile

Hello my fellow readers, stalkers, etc. I know you all (all 3 of you) have been wondering where I have been, what is going on with us, etc.

My answer to your questions is NOTHING! Other than working, playing with the kids and working, we have not been up to anything.

This weekend went quick which is always a downer. The boys got a haircut, lawn got mowed and we grilled out (man I love grilling out!).

Steve had a nice Father's Day. The boys made him each a stepping stone with their footprints. We ended up driving to Steve's parents house for lunch. Got back home and didn't do too much, but play outside and goof around.

Here are some photos from Father's Day.

Boring post.... what can I say?! :)

I am sure I will get in A LOT of trouble for posting this video, but I HAD too. I swear he didn't do what he said he was going to. :)

The Kids

Here are Jack, Alex, Nick and Mya from last night.

Does anyone know why the photos get uploaded the wrong way? I have had this happen to me quite a bit for the past month or so. Crazy stuff man!

Hanging out with Grandma V on her bday.

Hanging out with G&G H

Here are some photos of the kids with my parents.

Could Alex be any cuter?!
Jack loving his G-pa
Jack wanted to have a picture of them sleeping. Check out Alex.. I am sure he is thinking "what is up with you crazy people?"

Belated Birthday Shout Out

Happy Birthday to Steve's Mom. Her birthday was yesterday, but with being swamped at work and all I didn't have time to post. One good thing about being late is that I have a photo of her from last night.

Update

So I got one of my many morning phone calls from my loving hubby today and got yelled at. Why you ask... because I haven't made a post since last week. Here it is honey! :)

I will give you the update from this past weekend on this blah hump day.

Friday the boys and I hung out at the house and played outside. Steve got home and I was off to meet my friend Cheri for dinner for my birthday. Great time and conversation. I was hitting her up on advice for this 10K run I am doing on the 14th.

Saturday I opened the Y and got home to crabby little boys. So we feed them and put them down for their naps. Steve took off for a few hours and returned to join us outside. Later that evening Melissa picked me up for our "date". We went out for sushi at LT (love it!) and then we were off to see Sex in the City.

Sunday we decided that we were going to do some landscaping (putting rock down in the backyard) and called G&G V to see if they wanted to come up for lunch and watch the kids while we worked. They said sure. So they got up to our house and we put them to work. Grandma watched Alex and Grandpa and Jack rototilled (spelling?) the garden while Steve and I put the rock down (well I help a little bit). Then we grilled out for lunch and G&G were off to their house. Alex took a nap and Jack hung out with us because he didn't want to nap (never a good thing later on the day/evening).

Monday we worked and I had volleyball that evening at The Bar. Stayed out late with the gang... good times.

Tuesday we worked and I had a hair appointment after work. QUESTION: if you were a hair dresser and you had someone come in (first time with this client) with shoulder length hair and when you ask "what would you like done" and they respond with "if you could do anything to my hair what would you do".... wouldn't you be excited with that response or think yes lets come up with something good. Well this was my appointment yesterday (me the client...duh) and she came back with "how about a classic bob". WHAT that is all you have. I was hoping for something funky and fun and boys and girls that is what I got a classic bob. I guess she wasn't as funky/crazy as I had hoped (she is 26 and has short hair with purple highlights that frame her face). Maybe next time since it was our first meeting and all.

Today... we worked (or are still working) and tonight we have a sitter coming to the house (thanks Heidi) and we are off to a birthday party at Mackinaws. So that is our day so far.

No pictures this post... I have some just haven't uploaded them to my computer.... maybe tomorrow.
